If you don't feel 100% - what will you do?

If you don't have joint pains, headache, fever or a sore throat, it doesn't mean you are healthy.

I know of many people aged 40 and above who are not sick, yet don't feel healthy. But they just wait for something major to happen before they go for a checkup.

If the gauges on your 35 year old car, are showing a reading that is not normal, you don't have to wait till the red warning lights come on, before you take the car in for an inspection.

The same with your body. If you live in the city, then by age 35, you should be dropping in yearly to check your blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels. After all, this checkup will only cost you RM25 in Malaysia or S$18 in Singapore. It's affordable and gives you a status update of your current state of health.

I have subsidized Gribbles and Pathlab vouchers at just RM25 or just S$19 at the Raffles Medical Group, if you want to save some money going directly and paying much more for your tests.

Yes, prevention costs money, but it's small money compared to treating a major health challenge. So either way, you have to pay the price. Its cheaper and less stressful, if you do it today. So do you know your cholesterol numbers?.
