Does a high salt intake cause high blood pressure?

NO!. According to Joel Wallace a 1991 Nobel Prize nominee for Medicine, salt intake has no effect on your blood pressure levels.

If you have yet to listen to his highly entertaining and educational audio called Dead Doctors Don't Lie, you can read it here for free. Or if you prefer an audio CD, do contact me.

According to Dr Wallace, salt is not the cause of high blood pressure. After a 20 year study of 5,000 people, 99.7% died after being on a low or reduced salt diet. But if you can increase your calcium intake, your blood pressure will stablise. Read more about Dr Wallce research on high blood pressure here.

So enjoy your salted tasteful food and tell your doctor to stop giving false information and to keep updated, on the updated research on hypertension or high blood pressure.
